Telunas Resorts, located in the Riau Islands near Batam, Indonesia, is a business that believes in creating positive, sustainable change through holistic human capital development. Founded by Michael Schubert and Eric Baldwin, Telunas aims to improve the quality of life of its staff and their families through employment opportunities, financial literacy, education, and values training. This case study, conducted by the Lien Centre for Social Innovation, assesses the impact of employment at Telunas Resorts and explores how Telunas’ corporate culture and employment practices contribute to the wellbeing and life satisfaction of its employees.
