Giving and Receiving: Interfaith Giving as an Agent of Peace
Seminars and Conferences
In conjunction with the month of Ramadan, the Lien Centre for Social Innovation (LCSI) will be hosting an online interfaith dialogue exploring the role of faith-based funders and organisations in promoting peace and understanding among multi-faith communities. This session is the third discussion as part of the Giving and Receiving Programme Series aimed at extending conversations around the outcomes of a report by LCSI of the same name.
This session will gather leaders and representatives of faith-based funders and organisations to explore the different perspectives of giving in across four faiths: Islam, Christianity, Buddhism and Baha’i), and how these perspectives are then translated into decisions made around partnering with organisations from different faiths, and funding initiatives that are relevant to their respective faiths.
