Located at the heart of 1,200 units of rental flats within the Lengkok Bahru area, S17 Community Kitchen provides up to 500 meals per week for elderly living in the vicinity.

Initiated as part of The Saturday Movement, the community kitchen started with the aim to serve the communities of elderlies that lived on their own. Find out how the initiative worked with local groups to provide companion, food, and activities for the elderlies of Lengkok Bahru.

The What's Good in the Hood (WGITH) project aims to highlight various community projects in Singapore that helps to create a more vibrant, just, and inclusive society. The project collects stories of service done in the community, for the community and by the community with the aim to spotlight various community service models within Singapore.
