Ground Up Initiatives

Hey, You Got Mail! is a ground-up initiative that aims to alleviate social isolation among seniors. Realising that the issue of social isolation for seniors has worsen due to the Covid-19 safe-distancing measures, a team of youth started an elderly befriending project to provide support for seniors. Through befriending activities such as 'To Your Doorstep', 'Goes Digital', 'Buddy O'Clock'  the initiative hopes to reduce social isolation and promote intergeneration bonding between youths and seniors. 

The What's Good in the Hood (WGITH) project aims to highlight various community projects in Singapore that helps to create a more vibrant, just, and inclusive society. The project collects stories of service done in the community, for the community and by the community with the aim to spotlight various community service models within Singapore.
